When you are solving an equation with multipul operations, there is a specific order you must follow in order to get the correct answer. I have posted the notes and the assignment that we covered on Monday.

We completed a short worksheet on ordering decimal numbers, and the rest of the class was spent on the Photoshop assignment.
Today we reviewed 6 different ways that a number can be written.
We will be practicing ordering decimals next class.

Today we discussed how to order numbers with decimals. Be sure to rewrite the numbers with all of the decimal points lined up; then you can add the correct amount of zero’s so you will have all the numbers with the same number of decimal places.

Today is our Test. You have all worked hard at all of the number conversions. As a review, I assigned 9 questions where numbers need to be ordered from smallest to largest. If you did not get it done, print it from here, complete it and hand it in for marks. Mr.D
Changing numbers from percent, to decimals, to fractions to ratios is an important skill to have. We marked all outstanding work and did a test review. Test is on Monday.
